Kansas Whitetail Deer Hunting Licences and Permits:
Permits and licenses are not included in the package prices. It is the responsibility of the hunter to obtain the proper permits and licenses. Nonresident Whitetail permits are distributed by drawing. The application period for 2012 is April 1-30. Not getting drawn for a permit is a thing of the past. For the past several years every hunter that has applied has been drawn. In fact there have been several thousand Whitetail Permits leftover state wide that are sold over the counter on a fisrt come first served basis. Nonresident Whitetail hunters will need a Nonresident Hunting License which cost $72.50 and a Nonresident Whitetail permit valid for UNIT 8, which cost $322.50. Please go to the the following Kansas Wildlife and parks Web site page for further details.

Our Deer Stands:
Our typical stand height is 10 – 15 feet off the ground. We hunt out of ladder, hang-on, tripod, ground and tower stands. We spend a lot of time monitoring deer movement to make sure our stands are in the best spot possible. We hang them in heavy timber, around food plots, on saddles, and along travel routes between feeding and bedding areas. Please let us know about any special requests or needs when you book your hunt.
Deposits:
50% of your total package costs are due when you make your reservations. The remainder of your package cost is due by September 1st of the same year as your scheduled hunt.
Cancellations:
If you cancel before June 1st before your scheduled hunt your deposit will be refunded less a 10% processing fee. If you cancel after June 1st of the year of your hunt your entire deposit will be forfeited. If a member of your party does not show up for the hunt 100% of the price of the package booked is still due.
Note:
Anyone born on or after July 1, 1957 must have completed a certified hunter safety course to hunt in Kansas. Please visit the KDWP home page for further information. |
