| Kansas Waterfowl hunts are $400.00 per day per hunter. Our waterfowl hunts are fully guided. Please note this fee is based on a minimum of four hunters. Add $50 per day for a party of three or less.
What is included: Guide, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and one night stay in our lodge.
What is not included: Licenses, permits, taxes, and gratuities.
Kansas Waterfowl Season Dates:
The Waterfowl dates and bag limits are regulated by the federal government and are released in mid to late summer. The Kansas regulations are released in late August every year. Tallgrass Lodge and all or our duck hunting grounds are located in the Late Zone. The goose hunting regulations and seasons are valid state wide. Kansas Waterfowl Permits:
Permits and licenses are not included in the package prices. It is the responsibility of the hunter to obtain the proper permits and licenses. Each hunter will need a Kansas Hunting license, a Kansas state duck stamp, a federal duck stamp, and a HIP stamp. The Non-Resident hunting license cost $72.50, the Kansas state duck stamp cost $7.00, the federal waterfowl stamp cost $16.50, and the HIP stamp cost $2.50. You can purchase all of your licenses and stamps except the Federal duck stamp on line at the following Kansas Wildlife and parks Web site. You will need to get the Federal duck stamp at your local vendor.

Deposits:
50% of your total package costs are due when you make your reservations. If you are booking a fall hunt (October – November) 100% of your balance is due by September 1st. If you are booking a winter hunt (December – January) your balance is due 60 days prior to your scheduled hunt.
Cancellations:
All packages not canceled within 90 days of your scheduled hunt will result in forfeit of 100% of your deposit. All packages canceled prior to 90 days of your scheduled hunt will have a 10% processing fee charged and taken out of your deposit. If a member of your party does not show up for the hunt 100% of the price of the package booked is still due.
Note:
Anyone born on or after July 1, 1957 must have completed a certified hunter safety course to hunt in Kansas. Please visit the KDWP home page for further information. |
