From Wichita: Go north on I-135 to Newton. Take exit 33 onto 50 East. Take 50 to Highway 77 in Florence. Go north on Highway 77 ~ 52.5 miles to Lyons Creek Road and take a left. Go 4.6 miles and you will see the Tallgrass Lodge sign on your left. Pull into the drive toward the yellow house, veer left at the yellow house and you will be at the lodge.
From Denver:Take I-70 east for ~470 miles to Junction City Kansas. Take Exit 295 (Highway 77) and go south toward Herrington. Go south 3 miles to Lyons Creek Road and take a right. Go 4.6 miles and you will see the Tallgrass Lodge sign on your left. Pull into the drive toward the yellow house, veer left at the yellow house and you will be at the lodge.
Tallgrass Lodge Accommodations
Our lodge is a five bedroom three bath two story ranch home with a second story wraparound porch. Upstairs the master suite features a queen bed, bath and a sliding glass door that opens onto our wraparound porch. We have a second queen bed room and a double bunk room upstairs as well. There is a quad bunk room and a double bunk room downstairs featuring rustic twin over double log bunk beds. We can sleep ten individual hunters comfortably. We have a large living room upstairs with a dining area and kitchen, and a recreation room downstairs with a pool table and bar. As far as the food goes I promise you will not go hungry. We serve large gourmet meals tailored to your tastes, as well as terrific down home favorites with plenty of delicious desserts and sweets mixed in.
